Our Story

Founded as a boutique firm in 2004, JTS has grown to become a formidable professional services’ organization with more than 70 active consultants problem-solving across the globe. From the onset we have done things a bit differently, aiming to enable meaningful change by bringing together experienced professionals who genuinely want to be part of each engagement and have the right tools, attitude and experience to succeed. Born from the water, gas & electric utility sector, we have broadened our focus on smart infrastructure to encompass the many industries navigating digital and physical infrastructure transformation.

Marrying technology with urban and rural systems, JTS is at the heart of assessing, planning, delivering and monitoring programs that lead to a safer, more efficient, effective and sustainable world. We also enjoy flexing our management consulting muscles to help organizations navigate noisy change, define business outcomes, establish structure, and move the needle (in the right direction).

Our Leadership

Travis Stevenson

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER

As founder and president, Travis has steered the company's strategic direction from the onset. With over twenty-five years of experience in business transformation and management consulting across three continents, his operational efficiency and smart infrastructure expertise have earned global recognition and deep relationships.

  • As President, Travis has a dependable reputation as the go-to resource for smart infrastructure implementation and expertise. This in part due to his deep knowledge of integrated energy and utility life cycle. In his day-to-day, client satisfaction is his unwavering priority, and it's this in combination with his industry knowledge and passion that have earned him widespread appreciation, including the esteemed Vancouver Top 40 Under 40 award.​

    In his free time, Travis actively engages in community initiatives and supports charitable committees. Previously serving as the president of the ALS BC board, he exemplifies his commitment to making a positive impact beyond his professional endeavors.

Theresa “Tess” Eriksson

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & SVP OF SERVICE DELIVERY

As the COO and SVP of Service Delivery, Tess is a seasoned executive with a record of driving operational excellence, leading high-performing teams and having an unwavering commitment to delivering results for clients. Having first entered consulting 20 years ago, Tess has built extensive global expertise in program delivery and technology implementation.

  • Tess is known for taking complex challenges and working with the team to put logical and impactful solutions in place, with the client's objectives firmly in focus. She is natural leader who nurtures strong relationships and cultivates diverse perspectives from those around her, creating space for creativity and innovation to thrive.

    Tess holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Industrial Marketing on the topic of Kindness in Business, as well as a Masters of Science (MsC) in Informatics and is a frequently published academic author.

    She is also a book lover, an avid cyclist, runner and loves the great outdoors.
